Today, I called a friend who is being greatly tested. What love. What faith. Amazing what heroes there are in trials that absolutely shouldn’t be happening.
Yet, there’s so much more at work than we can understand. There will always be a million ‘I don’t understands’ and maybe later on we’ll know. But God. We walk and chase the One whom we love. Jesus the Messiah. God our Father. If we can shift how we see it all, our perspective, it becomes easier.
If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory.
How we see ourselves and what we‘re doing. So important. On earth as it is in heaven. Live life from up there and look down here. It’s a journey. A test. A joy at times. But Jesus our greatest joy.
Toward the end of our conversation, she told me how they did a study on how good it was for rats to be tickled. Rats. Tickled. We laughed.
